The Cross in Space
The Cross in Space was launched August 2,2008 on Falcon 1 from the Marshall Islands. The Cross, Bible and Jesus stickers reached 217km or about 134 miles up into the heavens. The second stage seperation failed and the satallite did not reach orbit. However the cross made from the cross I've carried around the world did go up 134 miles into Space! Glory! The Cross, Bible and stickers were scattered over the Pacific and bits went around the world! We will go forward with another launch with a new Cross on it. I will post information on this new launch as soon as we get the info.

The launch we are working on is a Polar Orbit going from pole to pole and not remaining in stationary orbit. The cross will be over You personally! The Cross will be over every Nation on earth! Over Afghanistan! Saudi Arabia! Jerusalem! America! As the earth turns it will pass over every inch of the earth like peeling an apple. The cross will circle the earth every one and a half hours.
After launch we can tell you on our site when it will be over you and your nation. We have carried the cross in Every nation. Now we will, God willing have it flying above Every nation! We wave the cross in the face of Satan and proclaim that Jesus is Lord over All the Earth. All glory to God.

The Mission: To put a 2 inch cross in space to orbit around the world. (That was the size of the one launched in 2008. The next one is about 1/2 inch) This is made from the cross that Arthur Blessitt has been carrying around the world. He is in the Guinness Book of Records for 'the world's longest walk', now 319 nations, island groups and territories for a distance of 39,227 miles (63,844 km) This is one and one half the distance around the earth! On Foot!
Now as an extension of that walk on foot around the world the cross made from that very cross will be put in space orbit above the earth. A cross made from the only cross carried around the world will become the first cross put in orbit around the earth! All Glory to God.
The Cross is the best known symbol in the world. At the cross the worst of man met the best of God and there is Hope! The cross is the symbol of Love, Peace and Hope in a troubled world. Not only is there hope but "The Way, The Truth, The Live" is found in Jesus.
How thrilling to know that the cross of Jesus is lifted up above the earth! Circling this planet all the time. Day and Night the cross will be lifted up. Above wars, poverty, crime, greed, hate and pride the cross will circle in Glory. Jesus said, "People love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil". (John 3:19) The cross will be lifted up above all evil on earth. Also the cross will be above, as a blessing upon the earth. A thrill to every believer in and follower of Jesus to know the cross is above him or her at all times. You can look up at the heavens on a star filled night and know the cross is up there above the earth.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". (Ephesians 6:12)
For sure the Devil hates The Cross! It was there that Jesus died for our sins, shed His Holy Blood, died and then arose again and won the victory over Satan, sin and death.
Now the cross will not only be up 'on' earth but lifted up 'over' the earthly domain of Satan! Glory!
"The Devil took Him (Jesus) up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him (Jesus) 'All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me'. Then Jesus said "Away with you Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only you shall serve."

Interesting Facts and Figures about the Cross
1.The 2 inch cross (now a smaller one) was cut from the 12 foot cross Arthur Blessitt has been carrying around the world.
2. The cross is made from 'clear heart Redwood' and prepared by my dear friend Renny Severance.
3. Arthur will continue to carry that same cross as he and his wife Denise go on to remote island groups around the world.
4. The cross is about 2 inches long and about 1/2 inch wide. The complete Holy Bible is on thin Microform and will also be launched with the cross.
5. The project is a ministry of the Arthur Blessitt Evangelistic Association.
7. The Cross in Space Satellite will be in a sun-synchronous, polar orbit at an altitude of 470 miles (757km) high. With the sun-synchronous orbit(which crosses the equator at 98 degrees), the satellite will be in contact points in about twelve hour increments. This means that we will know where the satellite is at say noon and midnight or at six am and six pm. As of yet, we are not sure what the time of day for contact will be. We will let you know that after launch. You will be able to know the exact time it is passing over your part of the earth! A Polar orbit is a particular type of Orbit. A satellite in polar orbit travels a north-south direction, rather than the more common east-west direction. Polar orbits are useful for viewing the planet's surface. As a satellite orbits in a north-south direction, Earth spins beneath it in an east-west direction. As a result, a satellite in polar orbit can eventually scan the entire surface. Its like pealing an orange in one piece. Around and around, one strip at a time, and finally you've got it all. For this reason, satellites that monitor the global environment, like remote sensing satellites and certain weather satellites, are almost always in polar orbit. No other orbit gives such thorough coverage of Earth. This means that in time the cross will pass over 'the entire' earth! Every inch of it! I leave it to you to ponder the Prophetic and Biblical significance of this! For the first time the Cross and the Bible will pass directly over all the earth! All Glory to God. This is awesome and glorious. I pray that is Cross and Bible in the sky will be like a welcome banner for the return of Jesus.

The Holy Bible and Jesus Sticker in Space Orbit
The Holy Bible is the most read book on earth and the best seller year after year. We are including with the Cross a copy of a miniature Holy Bible on Microform! We are thrilled to include on this mission the Word of God and have it too lifted up above the earth.
The Old Testament in the Bible points 'to' the Messiah Jesus Christ! The Gospels in the New Testament and the first chapter of Acts in the Bible tell of the life of Jesus. How He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived without sin, did mighty works, taught and love and showed us the way of life. It tells of His death on the cross for our sins, shed His Blood, died and on the 3rd day rose again. It tells how after several weeks He ascended into heaven and is at the Right Hand of the Father. The remainder of the New Testament looks back to Jesus and teaches us more about how to live with and follow Him. It is a great blessing to include the Holy Bible on this mission.
The Jesus Sticker is just something I must include on this space mission. I had printed the first Jesus stickers back in 1968 when I was the Minister of Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. Over 20,000,000 stickers have now been printed and given out around the world. They have two messages; "Turn on to Jesus" and "Smile God Loves You". They are a florescent red color. When pealed off the roll of paper they will stick on as the backside has sticky glue.
